Mr. Vishwas Surange is the CEO & Executive Director of Powerlinks Transmission Ltd, a joint venture between Tata Power Company Ltd and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.
With an impressive career spanning over 37 years in the power sector, Mr. Surange is an expert in engineering, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and project execution in the transmission and distribution domain. He began his professional journey with the Madhya Pradesh State Electricity Board in 1988 and joined Tata Power in 2004. As the former Head of Transmission Projects at Tata Power, he spearheaded critical initiatives that showcased his expertise in managing complex projects and driving innovation.
As CEO & Executive Director of Powerlinks Transmission, he leverages his vast experience and visionary leadership to position the organization as a leader in the transmission sector, setting benchmarks for operational excellence and improvement.
An alumnus of Bhopal University with a B.E. in Electrical Engineering, Mr. Surange further honed his leadership skills with a Master’s in Financial Management from the prestigious Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
