Mr. Vispi S. Patel is a seasoned professional with over 28 years of experience in Corporate Secretarial functions, specialising in corporate law, governance, and strategic leadership.
He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of General Law from the University of Mumbai.
Vispi began his career in 1996 as a CS Management Trainee with Tata Motors Limited, where he steadily progressed to the position of General Manager and Deputy Company Secretary. Before his current role, he was the Company Secretary of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Motors.
During his tenure at Tata Motors, he played a key role in Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Restructuring, Governance, and Compliance. He also oversaw the secretarial functions of several foreign subsidiaries of Tata Motors, ensuring regulatory alignment across jurisdictions. His contributions were instrumental in the company receiving multiple accolades for excellence in corporate governance.
