Mr. Gajanan S. Kale is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited, a Joint Venture between Tata Power and the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi.
A power sector veteran with 32 years of experience, Mr. Kale specializes in customer experience, operational excellence, project management, and stakeholder relations. He previously led Tata Power Western Odisha Distribution Limited (TPWODL) and Tata Power Ajmer Distribution Ltd (TPADL) as CEO, where his leadership earned TPWODL consecutive A+ rankings in the Ministry of Power's Integrated Rating of Discoms.
His career began at BHEL Bhopal, followed by roles at Central Railway Nagpur Division, Tata Power Mumbai Distribution, and a previous stint at Tata Power-DDL. He pursued an MBA in Finance and also holds an M. Tech in Integrated Power Systems from the National Institute of Technology, Nagpur. He graduated with a B.E. in Electrical Power Systems from Amravati University and is also an alumnus of the prestigious IIM Ahmedabad.
Recently, Mr. Kale was recognized as "Best CEO of the Year with HR Orientation" and received the "Best CEO of the Year" award in FY 23-24.
