Mr. Amit Kumar Garg is the Chief Executive Officer of TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL), a joint venture between Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, dedicated to delivering reliable power across eight districts in Southern Odisha.
With over 35 years of distinguished experience in the power sector, spanning public and private domains, Mr. Garg is a seasoned leader who began his journey with Tata Power in 2004 at Tata Power Delhi Distribution, driving transformation and growth. As the former CEO of Tata Power Trading Company Limited (TPTCL) from March 2021 to July 2022, he demonstrated exceptional leadership before joining TPSODL as COO in August 2022. Promoted to CEO, he now spearheads operational excellence and innovation. Earlier, his tenure with the Rajasthan State Electricity Board included leading key projects in Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission and grid infrastructure.
Mr. Garg is a graduate in Electrical Engineering from the Government Engineering College, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. A passionate badminton player, marathon enthusiast, and avid traveller, he balances professional excellence with vibrant personal pursuits.
