Mumbai, 12th  September, 2024: Tata Power, one of India's largest integrated power company, proudly announces its initiative to power up 125 Ganesh pandals across Mumbai. Serving around more than 7.8 lakh customers in the city, Tata Power is committed to providing reliable energy solutions.

In a pioneering effort, Tata Power has gone beyond supplying electricity by conducting safety inspection of Ganapati Pandals, correcting unsafe conditions, and organizing Nukkad Natak (street plays) focused on safety and proper electrical usage outside Ganesh pandals. These performances emphasized the critical need for crowd control and strict adherence to electrical safety, Fire safety and General safety measures to prevent any potential hazards. They have creatively used mythological characters in the street plays captivating the audiences and effectively conveying a strong message of safety awareness, sparking engagement and curiosity among viewers.

Tata Power's efforts highlight the importance of safety norms during festive celebrations, setting a benchmark for others to follow. This initiative not only supports the Ganesh Pandals with power but also educates the community on safety awareness.
